Ozark Trail Tents on Sale For As Low As $29 97!

I decided that for the $40 I spent on it, (knowing that you get what you pay for) I would sew the gap and seal it really well and get a thicker gage replacement pole for the fly. It is an Ozark Trail Dome Tent that is a 4-person tent. The design change I want to comment on concerns the little “laundry room” that protrudes out the back of the ozark trail tents tent. The short pole supplied for that protrusion splintered in two places and poked about four small holes in the black fabric of the laundry bubble. Better instructions on how it should be installed would have prevented the splintering, but I would rather have seen the “laundry room” not be an outside protrusion from the back of the tent.

Finding a tent within a tight budget can feel a little hopeless, but there are actually quite a few affordable options out there for people willing to do a little digging. Whether you’re in search of a large shelter to share with friends and family or a lightweight solo tent for smashing trails in the backcountry, here are some of our favorite budget tents. Ozark Trail tents are rated as “water-resistant,” not waterproof. This means that in constant or heavy rain, the seams are likely to leak, and eventually, the fabric of the body will soak through as well.

Pull them down to the base corners of the tent and attach them to the pin rings. Ultimately, the good design for this product was that it was ozark trail sleeping bag sized right for what I needed, both in dimensions and weight. Not too small, but not too large (and thus wasteful) – a Goldilocks design.

In such a case, you save lost of floor space, such beds fit nicely against the walls of a cabin tent, and you can have a huge family camping comfortably. This is big enough to accommodate 5 queen size beds. But if you do so, you will not be able to close the dividers. Note, I have included this tent in my list of extra large family camping tents. The Hazel Creek 20-Person Star Tent With Screen Room was designed to sleep, yes, 20 people. What makes this particular tent so cool is that it has four separate “rooms” or compartments.

After spending a lot of time with Ozark Trail tents, my final verdict is that they’re excellent budget-friendly tents. Like any brand, Ozark Trail tent’s waterproof resistance and performance will depend on each tent’s design, the tent material, and factory flaws. Ozark Trail tents are competitive with CORE and Coleman Tents, but in our opinion ultimately fall a little short of both brands in quality and consistency. It has a tremendous amount of features and can easily be set up by one person in just a few minutes. A super important factor when considering tents is the setup.

The Ozark Trail 1-Person Backpacking Tent is on the cheaper end of the spectrum. A variety of websites have it currently priced for less than $50. Many higher quality tents could cost 3 or 4 times that amount. When you’re looking at what you want in a tent, consider how many people are going to be using it.

As far as fairweather shelters go, however, this one may be the best value in terms of livability for your money. The first good design feature is the placement of the door on the side, and more specifically on the long side of the tent. I’ve tried tents with the door on one end and it is cumbersome. For the end-door variants, one has to toss their sleeping bag down the tent when getting ready for bed.

It was my kids’ first time camping, and we had no problems. My husband is a city-boy and even he could figure out how to put it up. Although, he did have ozark trail sleeping bag the room divider pole left over, LOL. Oh well, even incorrectly assembled it worked great. Thought the instructions could have been better, though.
