I was in my office and the toaster dinged when it finished. I unplugged it and tossed it outside on my lawn. I think of black decker toasters how many times my 13-year-old has used this. I can’t believe how many have this same issue and nothing has been done.

So I just take those out and dump the crumbs into the garbage. Every so often I wash the crumb trays in the sink with a little warm water and soap. It’s very easy to clean, and not a hassle at all. I can see this toaster lasting for many years to come as long as I take care of it and clean it properly.
While the toasting in this oven wasn’t perfect, it was better than we expected, perhaps because of the help of the convection fan. The countertop oven is fitted with a 30-minute timer for longer baking tasks, along with a precise toast timer that allows you to select browning shades. I bought a Black & Decker toaster oven less than 2 months ago. This morning I put a piece of toast in it and I turned around to grab a cup of coffee and I smelled smoke. I opened the toaster oven and my piece of toast was on fire.
