While the Spirit line is full of modern features, Weber has stepped up their game with the new Genesis models. This generally means that the grill comes with a dedicated rotisserie burner; the motor and spit are usually purchased separately. On both the CharBroil SmartChef and Weber Genesis II, the ribs were too thin to shield their probes from ambient hot air under the lid.
