At no point have we seen even a slight give to the frame of the trampoline—not even when larger kids take tumble run after tumble run on it. It can withstand some serious acrobatic skills, and the springs keep their tension every time. The frame is made of weather-resistant galvanized steel, and the UV-protected polypropylene jump mat is held up by about 76 tightly coiled rust-resistant springs.

It wasn’t cheap but given they bounced daily on the small trampoline, I had a hunch they’d really take to a full-size version. Now that our oldest is 8 and youngest 5, it was time to upgrade to a full-size trampoline. However, we faced the same problem in that it could only be 8 feet wide. That restricted us to a rectangular-shaped trampoline. Because our kids were small, we opted for a junior 8′ x 8′ round trampoline.

However, if you’re leaning toward another trampoline, going for expert assembly may be worth it. For a family, a trampoline can be a great backyard addition. The kids will have hours of fun during the warm months of the year, and the physical activity will be good for them. If you have gymnasts in the family, you may see the trampoline as a useful practice tool. Some models even add on a basketball hoop for those who have future NBA stars in the family.
