Weber Q 1200 Red Liquid Mini Portable Tabletop Propane Gas Outdoor Grill + Reviews

The biggest complaint from negative reviews was about how hot the grill was, and in some cases, how hot it wasn’t. I would guess that most of these people had regulator issues, and in many cases, could easily be solved by contacting Weber’s customer service center. The grill grates are cast iron and are more plate-like where they cover the burner.

I have been using grills since I was in my teens and have had my fair share of experiences with a wide varieties of brands and models. Weber grills are known as being some of the best but how does the Q 2200 hold up? Well, with great temperature regulation, grilling capabilities, heat retention, and ease of use, it readily measures up.

They are able to transfer heat evenly which results in more even cooking. Thus, similar foods of similar sizes cook at the same rate. First things first, let’s talk about the design of this portable grill. I quite like it – its compact size means that it can be set up virtually anywhere.

Weber has excellent customer service, and I’d bet that if you called them, they’d send out a replacement regulator right away. There is a good chance that it’ll be perfectly fine, but if it does crap out, it’ll be within the first few uses. Call Weber’s customer service number found in the manual, and they’ll likely send out a new one. Now, cleaning is never fun or easy, but I feel like weber charcoal grill1200 is super easy to clean. While wind can be a factor, it’s pretty easy to work around.

Weber grills and smokerscook beautifully and have great features that are clever, effective and easy to use. Even in this crowded marketplace, many consumers are still willing to pay more for the Weber name and they are rarely disappointed. Their iconic black charcoal kettles are known weber q throughout the world. One of the benefits of this gas grill – and others like it – is that size doesn’t matter. As long as it is hooked up to enough propane gas, it is able to produce a good amount of heat. This model, in particular, does a great job of reaching higher temperatures.

Other features include a thermometer built into the hood and two Q-shaped burners instead of one. Either of these grills would be great for those that don’t have the room for a full-size grill but still want the feel of a full-sized gas barbecue. Both of the 3200 models include folding side tables for storage in tight areas. They both accept both the 14.1oz and 16.4oz disposable propane bottles.

I have to say that I didn’t expect the Q 2200 to function and perform as well as it did. From putting it together to actually using the grill, it has been a wonderful experience all around. And, while I will be using my whole grills for heavy duty grilling and smoking, this has earned its spot in my collection. In general, though, this gas grill is pretty easy to use.

The manufacturer’s warranty on all of these grills is outstanding. The warranty on the cast aluminum body and Thermoset/Thermoplastic parts is 5 years. Warranties on all other parts are for 2 years, which is more than enough time to work out any defects that might be present.

The Q line of grills still have all of the same features, the same specifications and most importantly, they all operate the same and produce the same results. One of the major selling points of this grill is its two fold-out side tables, which are each 12.5 x 13.5 inches. They’re the perfect spot to place a plate, condiments, and grilling tools, and I used them pretty much every time I grilled. Webers are not cheap, but when you consider that they last decades, the price is easy to justify.

It is also really easy to use and a lot of fun to work with as well. This portable grill is far from cheap but I would argue that you are investing in the Weber brand and this is certainly worth the extra cash. It isn’t just about the features and how well the grill works – just take a look at the quality of the components. And, when you compare it to other portable grills in its class, this is definitely the heftier option. The Weber Q electric grills are a little more expensive than their propane counterparts. The Weber Q2400is priced somewhere around $300 to $350.
