This trike is well equipped for reliable stopping with linear brakes at the front and a rear-located hand brake. This single-speed trike is designed for simplicity of use and this does not limit its performance or affect your speed while riding this bike. The fixed gear model is akin to what most traditional bikes use because comfort is the key for driving over relatively short distances. The 26” model can take up to a 300 lbs rider with 50 lbs for the cargo basket. The high handlebars allow the rider to remain upright while riding. This reduces stress on your wrists and keeps the handlebars from bearing too much weight.
Its assembly isn’t as straightforward as you would expect and a little help is needed to put it together at home. Otherwise, you would have to get it assembled at a bicycle shop at an extra cost. The low step through allowance makes it easy to get on and off from this trike. I ride the Mission Cycles Tribrid model which has a similar build. I was able to carry both of my children on it with child safety seats. I used the Thule Yepp seat- forward facing for the youngest, which mounts to the front stem, and the larger size which mounts huffy cruiser bike to the seat post and does not require a rack. 21-speed twist shifters provide quick, precise gear changes on the trail. Plus, the Schwinn alloy crank offers optimal gearing and less maintenance. The schwinn 3 wheel bike is a genuinely good-looking bike.
