Taking a hit from it is like living through a whole new experience on its own—unrivaled, indelible. Only 3 of the businesses were registered with the state to sell electronic nicotine delivery systems (also called e-cigarettes or vape pens), or vapor products. Five of the stores were within 500 feet of a residential area; 3 were within 500 feet of a house of worship.
The names of businesses haven’t been shared yet pending law enforcement next steps. Part of the conversation at the Westport Prevention Coalition was that some of these places aren’t intentionally breaking the laws but are unaware of them. As follow-up, WPC will be talking with town decision makers about education for retailers as well as looking at consequences and enforcement.
I am pleasantly in a more jovial mood after receiving my package with no issues as the holidays can be stressful. As much as we hate the term “frankengadget” that’s sort of what this thing is, as it brings the the advantages of a bong (sorry, “waterpipe”) to the world of vaporizers. Try taking a break from cannabis for a week or two or choosing one or two days per week that you won’t consume. This will lower your tolerance level and get you high as ever when you start to smoke again. Next time vaporizers bongs you visit the dispensary, ask for cannabis strains with the highest potency and choose something you haven’t tried before. Not all dried herb is the same and low quality flower is prevalent, even at a dispensary.
Concentrates are roughly three to four times stronger than dry herb and are consumed using a dab rig or dab pen for those who want to puff on the go. If you haven’t tried cannabis concentrates before, start out super slow. A single dab should be no more than the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen.
