It is important to note that the Blackstone does not include propane tanks, so you will need to purchase those items separately. Our Blackstone works with the small tabletop propane tanks as well as the traditional 20 lb. Tank because we use our Blackstone practically every day … sometimes twice a day. But as much as I love it, I must confess that a 28″ would have worked just fine for me and my family.
It would be nice to see a bundle of the miniatures that are required to play, rather than the 5 separate sets that are required. Unlike Nightwars, all 5 sets are weber spirit 2 required to start playing Nemesis as the enemies could turn up at any time. Above all, the most important feature in the Dragonlance setting is its dragons.
If I would have sized up to the 22″ I would have 2 heat zones which would be nice when cooking. However I’ve cooked multiple items on the griddle at the same time and as long as they need the same temperature they cook fine. The solid steel cooktop is a dream and the patented rear grease catching system is awesome.
After you have set the griddle into place, you will then push the griddle back to lock it into place. The next step is taking a level to ensure that your stand is nice & level. Making sure your Blackstone us level makes cooking foods like eggs & omelets much easier.
It is a single H shaped burner so it only heats the cooktop to one uniform temperature but that has been fine for me in most cases. To give you a more visual picture you can fit 9 hamburger patties on the 17″ griddle. Griddles can produce a lot of grease latent vapors which are extremely flammable. I would not recommend use of a blackstone griddle indoors under any circumstance that does not have a commercial hood and suppression system.

The biggest improvement from the 17″ is that this one has 2 burners which means you can have 2 heat zones. Blackstone griddles take the best of the pros and fixes the cons of cooking on a gas grill. A flat surface means nothing falls through the slits of a grill grate. Once you have placed the burner section to the stand, you will now add the griddle and hood. The griddle section has little metal feet that fit into holes on the burner portion of the griddle.
