While this feature may seem insignificant, it’s pretty useful for users who have to clean surfaces on different floors of their homes. Use a towel or just blow the water/debris out of each side and get it as dry as possible. Less rapid movement of the machine while cleaning bissell crosswave cordless may also prevent this from happening. The biggest issue with this Bissell CrossWave is its abysmal, 30-minute battery life.

When you’re ready to switch from carpeting to wooden floors, all you have to do is click a single button. There’s also a lever on the handle that’ll deposit extra cleaning solution onto a given surface if your space feels extra grimey. The Max is reasonably maneuverable. Its floorhead pivots, allowing you to maneuver around obstacles pretty easily. It can be hard to push around on low and high-pile rugs, as its brushroll can get bogged down on carpet fibers pretty easily. Still, the lack of a power cord makes it noticeably easier to maneuver compared to the BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro.

After the self-cleaning cycle, our editor had to disassemble the parts, wash by hand, and leave out to dry before assembling again. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max does an okay job of handling debris in cracks. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max isn’t designed for use on high-pile carpet.

While the clean was effective, we found that sometimes switching between the wet and dry settings on one surface made it harder to pick up debris. For example, our editor mopped on hardwood and then attempted to use the dry vacuum setting and found it shark cordless was difficult for the machine to pick up debris off of an already wet surface.
