One of the most distinct differences between the Spirit and Spirit II is in its cart design. While the Spirit comes in a cabinet design, the Spirit II is of an open-cart style. Though the Spirit II is an improved char broil performance version of the Spirit grills, that isn’t the only reason one might want to invest in it. Both versions have advantages over the other, and choosing one that is more suited for you is the point of this comparison.

With the Weber Spirit II E 310, though, you should be able to figure this out after a relatively short period of time.
Now, I do want to quickly compare the Spirit II E 10 and Genesis II – the former is a higher end option. However, apart from the fact there is slightly more cooking area and the BTUs are higher, I wouldn’t waste my money but stick with the Spirit II E 310 instead. An interesting feature is that the burner tubes have netting over them. This is great for keeping creepy crawlies away so that you don’t have to clean them out later. The grease management system ensures that all the grease ends up in one place. As long as you make a point to empty out regularly and remove the grease, cleanup should be a breeze.
It is recommended to clean the inner and outer surfaces regularly to protect the product from natural factors. I do use my gas grill when we simply want to be outside, and I fancy a very quick snack in the simplest most fuss-free way possible, but my gas grill is my least used bit of kit. The only reason to overlook it or replace it would be the need for extra cooking space. It’s stupidly easy to cook with because ease of use is at the forefront of its design. For that reason, you should give it serious consideration as your next grill if it fits your bill. You can easily access the grease tray to scrape it and then wash with soapy water, and the disposable aluminum catch pans are just swapped out for fresh ones.

These grills are backed by a longer warranty than the Spirit grills but have fewer models available.
Weber also switched the direction of the rods on the upper rack so that they now run back to front, instead of side to side. This makes slipping a spatula under the food so much easier.
