The black stainless looks great and so far I™™ve not had any issues with its performance. I think the dry feature works better than the Maytag I had. HOWEVER™¦My biggest frustration are the racks themselves particularly the bottom rack. The way the tines are angled, the height of the tines, and the general layout frigidaire gallery dishwasher of the space on the bottom is all horrible. Perhaps I have the misfortune of having all the wrong dishes as many of them don™™t fit in a way that allows me to load it to capacity. We have square dinner plates that have a slight curve to the corners – I can only use every other row or they fall over on themselves .
While we missed the inclusion of a top utensil rack , we were impressed with the racks’ flexibility. On the bottom rack, you can push the tongs down to create a completely flat surface. The racks are also adjustable up and down to accommodate wider or larger serving trays.
Also, clean any sticky liquid dishwashing detergent residue that may be preventing the lid from fully opening. Check if the soap dispenser is blocked– Items placed in the racks might be blocking the lid. Reload the pieces creating the obstruction. You should, therefore, check each individually while also ensuring that the door is tightly latched and the filter free of debris . Although this was not the quietest db rating for a dishwasher, I do not find it very noisy. My only recommendation is that the flatware holder should not have a huge space on the side as almost every time they end up at the bottom of the dishwasher with me fishing them out.
