Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max review: the best hard floor cleaner available to humankind

A powerful all-round cleaner, the Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max can vacuum and mop at the same time. It’s excellent on hard floors, dealing with tough stains quickly, and does a reasonable job with lighter stains on carpets and rugs, too. Decent battery life combined with fast cleaning should result in enough juice for most people to manage their homes. A relatively high price means that those on tighter budgets will be better off with a plug-in model.

I have tried everything I can think of to have the Crosswave not leave a puddle of dirty water when I stop using it or go to move it but it always does. If I’m going to clean up puddles might as well use a regular mop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product literally changed my life….I have 3 sons, 3 bulldogs and it was awesome to vacuum and mop all at once.

It can tackle messes on hard floors like tile, linoleum, wood, or laminate, as well as carpets, rubber floor mats, and area rugs. Its 36V lithium-ion battery gives you about 30 minutes of cordless cleaning power and convenience. This multi-surface cleaner is smooth to use, with great suction whether going over pet hair or cleaning spillages.

It saved a ton of closet space by not having to keep both my vacuum and mop easily accessible. The Max does an okay job of handling debris in cracks. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max’s performance on low-pile carpet is poor. It has a hard time with both fine debris like baking soda and larger material like sand on this surface type. We have a large area of tiled floor and a mastiff who sheds.

I still have to schedule out time to make sure that my carpet gets a thorough deep cleaning. However, the Crosswave Max is a close second if you don’t have the chance to go through the work of shampooing. The dyson robot vacuum Max does a great job of sucking up water.

It weighs almost exactly as much as the corded BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro, but its redesigned handle places less weight in your hand as you maneuver it around. Any parts that you wash under water should be left to dry completely before refitting them.
