Keurig K Mini Review 2022

The Essentials builds on the K-Duo with a 6 oz brew size and Strength Control. The Keurig K-Mini is great if you’re looking for a slim, compact brewing experience and don’t mind refilling before each use (or the non-removable reservoir). Get the best coffee deals, expert brewing guides and coverage of the latest innovations and products. All coffee machines need regular cleaning and descaling, and the Keurig Mini is no different.

The machine itself will need descaling every few months, but this is quite standard and easy enough to do. The Keurig K-Mini is intentionally very small, designed as it is to fit smaller spaces and deliver single cups of coffee. It is simple and effective, with no frills, no extras, gadgets or gizmos – just a straightforward way to get a decent brew when space is limited.

The bottom line is that the Keurig Mini is very simple. This is mostly a good thing, especially if you need coffee to function in the morning. There are only two buttons — a power button and a brew button — plus a curved light that blinks to tell you the machine is ready to brew. The Keurig Mini is a sleek, compact machine that will fit on even the most crowded kitchen counters. It’s available in four colors, including pink and green, and operates using a single silver button on the top.

It of course works with all of the K-Cups that are out there, and there are plenty to choose from. Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts and even McDonalds makes their coffee in K-Cup form. So you can get your favorite kind of coffee in the morning, quicker and for less.

You should wipe down your machine after each use, and the K-Cup pod holder and drip tray are both dishwasher-safe. First, remove the water reservoir and fill it to the appropriate line. Put it back into place and select your favorite K-Cup 1.0. So, not only does the K Mini perform for a long time, but it performs well.

Keurig K-Mini

◆ Your account minimum payment amount is determined by the purchases and balances on your WebBank/Fingerhut Credit Account. Yes, the Keurig K-Mini coffee maker will automatically turn off 90 seconds after the last brew. This is the only reusable k cup that I found that fits in Mini and Plus units. Even Keurig’s reusable k cup and they don’t fit right.

You can also clean it separately, without worrying about damaging any internal parts with water. The drip tray is removable, and the machine’s simple enough to clean quickly. Overall, this model’s cleaning needs are very reasonable. With more than 2,900 reviews, Bed Bath & Beyond shoppers rate it 4.1 stars, with the majority saying they would recommend the machine to others (and some reporting they already have!). Calling it sleek and slim, buyers report using it everywhere from an RV to the office. One happy customer says it’s even easy enough for her grandkids to use to make their own hot chocolate.

Meanwhile, there’s a 6in gap between the drip tray and the coffee spout, which is ample for most coffee cups. However, if you want to brew the coffee into travel mugs when you’re on the move, you can take out their drip trays, offering an extra inch of clearance. There is one thing that makes this brewer different from other Cuisinart Coffee Keurig® models; there is no water reservoir. Before you scoff at that notion keep in mind, that means fresh water for each cup of coffee. This happens to be the only reason I prefer this unit. Not only does water not sit in the unit all week while I am hard at work in the real world, but winter storage is also a non-factor.

The one-button operation makes it as easy to use as the K Mini, with separate buttons for ground coffee and K-Cups. When you press both buttons at once, it initiates the self-cleaning cycle. Keurig isn’t the only brand to dream up a single-serve coffee maker and put it on the market. The K Mini Plus definitely has some competition on the market, so it’s a good idea to check these models out before making a final buying decision. Overall, we do think Keurig stamped the price tag a bit too high on this one. This machine is certainly simple and convenient, but there are many other coffee makers in the same price range that have more features and functionality.

The Keurig Mini is the predecessor to the Keurig Mini Plus. It’s essentially the baseline model of the K Mini machine series by Keurig. The Keurig K Mini is essentially all you need to brew quality beverages at home. It’s available in black and grey, but unlike the Keurig Mini, it’s also available in white.
