And it’s possible that using higher pressure to clean my deck may have damaged the wood. Engaging the trigger lock keeps the spray wand from accidentally discharging high-pressure spray that could injure or cause damage. I used the direct spray tips to pulverize the grime off the concrete and to remove some paint that had been on the pavement for decades.
