It’s… OK. It’s a pod coffee, so what more can you say? You’re restricted to K-cups, which simply aren’t that great. It’s tasty and it will do the job, but there is no depth to the flavour. The lovely richness inherent to freshly brewed coffee isn’t there. Cheaper machines can tend towards making a lot of noise.

There are water level marks on the side to determine the volumes, making filling the water tank straightforward.

Additionally, the used K-Cup storage and strong brew options in the K-Mini Plus are features you’ll probably want in a machine that is built for convenience. Those K-cups are hot, and your tender little hands don’t want to remove them one at a time. With the same footprint as the K-Mini but with those extra features, buy the K-Mini Plus. The Keurig K Mini comes with everything else that you need to make delicious coffee – a brewer. It’s a minimalistic machine at heart, with the simple function of brewing your beverages at the single press of a brew button.
