DJI Phantom 4 Multispectral Image Capturing

A quadcopter, the RTK maneuvers smoothly during take-off, flight and landing. Once you’ve planned your mission, the flight is autonomous unless you choose to control manually. You can choose between map view and in-flight camera view—a nice feature that works within a 7 km (4.3 mi) range. Some sites have inaccessible areas that make shooting control in that section impossible. Or, perhaps the client is in a less than neighborly dispute which makes access tricky.

Better manage construction projects by tracking their progress in real-time with accurate and actionable 3D or 2D maps of large sites. Eliminate project waste with full-site awareness using regular, shareable site maps. Track every step of the construction process for years – even across multiple owners. Take advantage of the RTK accuracy of the RTK to capture data and create topographic maps of work sites.

It enables a full photogrammetric workflow in PPK mode using the customer’s L1/L2 base station. When bundled with TrueView EVO and our recommended add-ons, the P4 RTK provides the highest accuracy method of performing photogrammetric drone surveying with a DJI platform. A new DJI GS RTK app and Remote Controller with a built-in screen, giving users a streamlined control scheme for surveying missions and other data acquisition scenarios. The GS RTK app allows pilots to intelligently control their Phantom 4 RTK, with multiple planning modes, including Photogrammetry , Waypoing Flight, Terrain Awareness, and more. Users can also import KML/KMZ files to optimize the workflow for their missions.

The DJI Phantom 4 Multispectral, released in September 2019, integrates a 6 RGB camera sensor and multispectral imaging system for precise data for smart agriculture. It allows users to gain access to environmental impacts and changes for agricultural aspects. Also, with the RTK module attached, the Phantom 4 Multispectral is able to use centimeter level accurate positioning system. The DJI Phantom 4 RTK, released in October 2018, was designed for extremely accurate aerial mapping using real-time kinematic positioning. In addition to RTK, it uses a redundant GNSS module, installed to maintain flight stability in signal-poor regions such as dense cities.

The app is also how you set the up to fly autonomously using DJI’s Intelligent Flight modes. Available in Beginner Mode and Tripod Mode only, the infrared sensing system has a sensing field with a 70° angle horizontally and 20° angle vertically. However, even though we didn’t experience any issues with the app, it’s worth noting that it has a fairly subpar rating on Apple and Android’s app stores.

The default settings start the controller beeping starting at 30 percent battery and then lands you automatically at 10 percent. These can be shut off, but, you know, they’re there for a reason. DJI’s Go mobile app for iOS and Android devices is used not only for getting a view from the drone’s camera, but adjusting settings and seeing all your important flight data and battery status. Connect your device to the controller via a USB cable, open the app and voila, it’s all at your fingertips. Offering a valuable performance increase over the best of the Phantom 3 line, the dji mini 2 fly more combo was the logical update to the Phantom drone line. A capable quadcopter with an easy to use controller, a rich set of autonomous flight features and a camera that defined aerial video for a time.
