On hardwoods, the 890 was able to capture about 98% of debris tested. On low pile carpet, the number drops slightly to around 92% and on high pile carpet, it drops a little more, closer to 88%. I was hoping I could tell it to vacuum a room I wasn’t planning on using at the time as a work around for the app not having that functionality, but this is also not possible. Again, Dyson was not able to answer this and never called back. I guess the real issue is that for my house, the vacuum needs to go back to the dock to recharge before finishing.
