Note that you should only use this cleaner on rugs that are marked as suitable for wet cleaning . Turn machine ON by selecting the type of floor you will be cleaning. It’s a product that not only looks good; it also does what it states on the box. I took over and found the Bissell Crosswave Cordless was far harder to move on one of our thick pile rugs. It felt like it had doubled in weight and took a lot more effort to move. I am not sure if it was the suction power, the bristles or the design of the front of the machine causing the problem. I finally convinced myself this was because the Bissell Crosswave Cordless was getting stuck into the root of the fibres for a thorough clean.

It’s 11.5 pounds does give me a bit of an arm workout by the time I’m done cleaning my floors. I still have to schedule out time to make sure that my carpet gets a thorough deep cleaning. However, the Crosswave Max is a close second if you don’t have the chance to go through the work of shampooing. While the CrossWave is a great cleaning machine that delivers excellent results, there are areas that would need improvement.
