It is so cute the flag holder is awesome. I love Little Tikes products because they are sturdy. We have several little tikes products. I like that the windows have working shutters. The Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouseis an easy to assemble toy that is intended for children ages 2 years and up. This kids playhouse is straightforward to put together and assemble.
She is always coloring and drawing pictures which she then folds to put in her mailbox! I love that the house has real features like the mailbox, a place to put a flag, and moving windows and doors. Spring is here, even though the temperatures are still confused- one week its cold, the next week it’s warmer, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
I like the sturdiness of this playhouse. We have a table and chairs that we use all of the time! We would love to have a fun house to play in outside though. I think my kids would enjoy hours of imaginative play and I could enjoy some peace and quiet!
From my experience I think little tikes toys is more geared towards toddlers. Each piece snaps into the next, and there is a handy little tool that Little Tikes provides in the box, which helps you secure each piece. After the frame of the house is put together, the roof snaps on and is secured with lock-like pieces that simply slide into place.
I would think you would at least get 4 years out of it. Honestly this is a yard/garage sale price so I would go for it. My 4 year old son has been begging for a playhouse and this will be perfect for the next year or two for him. I like that it doesn’t require tools to put together. We’re sorry, you have too many items in your shopping bag.

I even added an American flag to give it a real home feel. My son helped me put together the playhouse, and was absolutely delighted when it was finished. The set comes with stickers for windows, house numbers, door knobs, and even a little mail slot. My daughter just turned 6 this say 2-8.
