App now only supports iOS 11 devices, if your iPhone or iPad can’t update, you can download the iOS 10 version here. Most iPhones and iPads released in recent years are compatible.
We recommend using the original DJI USB cable or the cable from your mobile device. I have an LG Rebel 4 that has Android 8.0 and 64 bit but the dji drones app will not install. I’ve scanned the QR code from the DJI website and after it attempts to install, it says App did not load. The app worked through the summer, then my phone updated itself and now it will not load.

What usually happens is the update simply does not happen and you need to start from the beginning again. You may be concerned that aborting an update before it finishes may cause some type of irreversible damage or glitch, but I have seen no reports of that happening. You should always check the geofencing restrictions before a flight. Even if you think you’re not near one of those zones, a Temporary Flight Restriction could have popped up without you knowing it . The license is valid for one iDevice,with free updates included, for approximately 12 months. Updates will be released a few days after DJI release their update, provided they don’t make some drastic changes that completely break this mod. If you are already flying in an FCC country (e.g. U.S. / Canada), this mod won’t do anything for you as your drone is already transmitting at full power.
