BICYCLES are allowed on all fire roads and on the Skyline to the Sea trail from Rancho Del Oso to the seasonal bridge near the base of the Berry Creek Falls trail. RANCHO DEL OSO NATURE & HISTORY CENTER- Rancho huffy mountain bike del Oso is the coastal portion of Big Basin Redwoods State Park, located 17 miles north of Santa Cruz, off of Highway 1. It is across Highway 1 from Waddell State Beach, located in the Waddell Valley.
Due to Covid-19 we are not allowing any customers into the shop at this time. We have a table and bike stands in front of the shop so we can bring products and/or bikes to you outside for purchase. Our service department is also performing pick-up and drop-off of repair bikes outside. We are not allowing any bike rentals or demos until further notice. In addition to the camps circling the center, there were also camps lining the outside of the No Man’s Land cone. The Bureau of Land Management took notice of the event, and required that plans be drawn up to maintain safety. They also required the Burn to be registered as an official event. In response, four cardinal roads were added emanating from center camp. The Man was located 100 yards West of Center camp, due to the camp being oriented with the path of the sun across the sky, as opposed to North-to-South.
