Just make sure the cassette is completely dry before applying the lubricant. But the truth is that it would have taken me less time to simply remove the cassette and give it a thorough rinse . It’s somewhat annoying that I have to hold the trimmer down with a finger whilst shaving but I’ve learned to live with it.
