You’ll know the battery is fully charged when all three white status lights are illuminated. But more importantly, it hasn’t failed yet and we’ve used it many more times than the previous two. Additionally, it performs dyson robot vacuum better since it doesn’t drop black dirt blobs of water every time we move it forward and back. You will know if a Bissell CrossWave is charging when the battery icon on the digital display is flashing.
This is going to be picking up everything from the floor, and consists of a replaceable piece of fabric and lots of brushes to clean up. Researched getting one of these but decided I will hold off and continue mopping until these things hopefully get better. The price makes it hard to justify based on most reviews. Sucks because mopping gets old but at least my robot vacuum works well. Yes, unfortunately you have to clean after every use.

No issues, but I agree it is more for whole house cleaning than a spot at a time because of the cleanup time. I do the self clean than rinse everything and air dry. The CrossWave retails at $399.99, which seems like a fair price for a machine that combines so many cleaning functions into one appliance, along with a cordless design and long battery life.
It will depend on how often you use the water spraying mechanism but still impressive. It should be more than enough for big homes with hard floors. Included with the 2554A are a couple of cleaners, some for hardwood floors and the others for every floor in your house. Maintaining the Bissell CrossWave Max is also less demanding.

Being a cordless vac, it requires charging before you can use it and comes with a charging dock for that purpose. The charging dock also acts as a tray on which to clean, dry, and store the vacuum. Charging happens automatically when you place the CrossWave Max of the dock, and you do not need to press any buttons.
It will make a good light duty mop replacement if we don’t mind the price. For messy jobs, it is necessary to clean it out thoroughly after each use. But if there is a lot of debris or anything particularly messy, it will be likely to get debris in every nook and cranny of the components and running. The cleaning cycle helps, but we need to break it all down to clean it up and in that case it would be easier just to grab a regular mop. It’s not a con necessarily, but Bissell claiming that the Crosswave can freshen up rugs seemed a bit cautious. It works on rugs and we can use the water spray on rugs, but it’s not a carpet cleaner or a spot cleaner for stains.
Although this model is called the CrossWave Cordless Max, it’s no bigger than the previous CrossWave Cordless. In fact, at just 5.22kg, this model is actually lighter than its predecessor. It’s also the recipient of a few design tweaks that make it the better cleaner overall. Something I’ve had to get used to with the Bissell crosswave is its weight. It’s 11.5 pounds does give me a bit of an arm workout by the time I’m done cleaning my floors. I still have to schedule out time to make sure that my carpet gets a thorough deep cleaning.
