As it is, the difference in noise at the same output size between sensors of different MP count has been proved to be negligible here on DPreview. I’m enjoying my Osmo Pocket, which I primarily use to shoot my RC airplane flights while mounted on my hat. Below are a couple of videos I shot in D Cinelike and graded in Adobe Premiere Pro. On another note, the control wheel can only adjust one axis at a time, while with the phone it is possible to control in two axis simultaneously. The dji fly puts video stabilization in the palm of your hand, with a small camera that smooths out your footage thanks to a 3-axis gimbal. It’s pocketable, like the name suggests, and doesn’t hog your smartphone, like the larger DJI Osmo Mobile 2. The fluid 4K resolution is ideal for anyone who uploads to YouTube, yet hates the idea of being shackled to professional-sized camera stabilization equipment. It’s not as durable as a GoPro and its microphone isn’t the best, but our testing proved that it’s the real ‘hero’ of smooth video and video transfer speeds.
The app adds a DJI Osmo Pocket watermark to the clips, which immediately makes them a little less cool and a little more corporate. I’d try to tilt the camera, and it would work to cancel out the movement. Attaching the camera to a smartphone gives you a bigger viewfinder and easier access to its controls. If you want more immediate access to the camera’s advanced functionality, attaching it to a smartphone is a great way dji fly to achieve that. The only problem is that this turns the Osmo Pocket from a device that can comfortably be used with one hand into something that feels like it needs two hands to operate properly. Four microphones on the handle provide surround-sound audio, letting you relive the magic.
