I would recommend “Idôle” to anyone who perhaps found the original “Chloé” from 2007 a little too soapy. The tangy-fruity pear plays around the rose really beautifully – it doesn’t seem too dominant. That’s why I also mentioned the similarity to “Chloé (Eau de Parfum” and “Daisy Eau So Fresh”.
She’d definitely wear this while out on the town, it suits her enthusiasm for life and sweet-hearted personality. This isn’t the first of it’s kind…but it’s nonetheless gorgeous. I got a sample of this recently, so I’m testing it a bit, just out of curiosity, even though it’s not “my type”, if you know what I mean.
I have a sample but will not be buying a full bottle, unless I can snag it for a low price. I have Chanel Gabriel essence and Burberry Her Blossom. Idole is way to similar genifique to add to my collection. Its not a unique, groundbreaking fragrance, but nobody will find this unappealing. Its very feminine and honestly makes me feel very put together.
From the first spritz, you can tell that Lancome Idole L’Intense is a carefully created fragrance by women for women, as it’s just so brilliantly crafted. If you were a fan of the original Idole, you’ll definitely need this beauty in your life too. Like the other fragrances from the Idôle line, the sleek bottle is gorgeous and would look perfect on almost any vanity. The juice itself offers lush notes of natural and sustainably-sourced bergamot and pear, giving you a euphoric experience that smells just like the joys of summer. Idole is beautifully put together. No, it doesn’t offer something wild or weird, but therein lies its strength.
I think it is very well blended with the rose musk, again this is a gentle blend. The vanilla is there as a balance but not a prominent note. It all sounds so simple but I lots of perfumes with a prominent fruit note that are too sickly sweet for me, particularly in Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR the opening. I don’t have an expert nose but this smells a lot like Herbal Essences rose shampoo. That is all – it’s not terrible, I feel fresh and cute and it’s perfect for in-office wear and casual settings. It smells like a fresh and clean rosy musk with pear.
