Intex 28405e Purespa 58″ X 28″ 4 Person Home Outdoor Inflatable Portable Heated Round Hot Tub Spa With 120 Bubble Jets, And Built In Heat Pump, Blue

I have the intex inflatable spa as well, I had my pump fail before the 1st year. I take things apart for fun, so I was going to discard the base and last night decided to perform an autopsy on the faulty base. The Heat Exchanger assembly is painted black inside and out, the aluminum was so corroded that the paint started to flake off and blocking the flow through it.

This tub doesn’t have as many jets as the PureSpa 28409E, but you’ll barely notice the difference. If you intend to host guests from time to time and want the luxury of having a spa in your back yard, then this model is a great choice. I think it’s the hoses they use to connect the far intake filter. When I warrantied my old tub I cut it open and there are 3 separate hoses that run from the far intake filter and they are rubbery.

If you don’t have this electrical point available, you might have to call a qualified electrician to come over and wire in your hot tub. Intex blowers run on a 110-volt power system so that you can connect them to a standard electrical socket for use. This feature makes them a portable solution that you can link up to an electrical extension cord. This spa supposedly fits up to 4-persons, but we think three people will be the maximum that can fit comfortably in this tub. It’s perfect for couples that want to enjoy a relaxing soak together.

There is no need of tricky electrical installation, just simply plug the tub in and it is ready to go. When the problem started a month ago I took the entire base unit apart to look intex baby float for deteriorating o-rings but found nothing. Since the problem has returned in the last week I took the unit apart again only to find the pump/heater unit was melted and warped.

This model comes complete with a hard water treatment system to prevent scaling and ensure simple maintenance. The Intex patented Fiber-Tech construction is guaranteed to provide a comfortable surface and durable rigid structure in use that prevents collapsed sides or sloshing over an unbalanced inflatable. The DIY setup is simple and quick, and the chlorine dispenser, test strips, and built-in hard water system mean simple maintenance. With 48 Fiber-Tech Beams to support the full and inflated structure, you can be sure you’ll have a relaxing soak without risk of collapsing the sides of your spa. This inflatable hot tub has a capacity of 240 gallons of water and the heating system provides a water temperature range up to 104 degrees of the ultimate jacuzzi spa system experience at your temperature preference.
