Casio G

I sincerely prefer the mineral glass over the sapphire crystal because of the way it behaves over time but that’s more of a personal opinion. The stainless steel resin case is of incredibly good quality and trust me it can be reliable for lots of years from the moment you buy it. The band material is a good-feeling resin that Casio pretty much used in all G-Shock with some exception, so nothing new here. As the previous model, the G-Steel also features a „hands out of the way” function which will put the hands in a position that will let you see all of the background indicators.

Both in terms of durability, but most importantly in terms of functions. This is a true survival and outdoor watch which has functions that display everything you may need from a watch and much more. The analog clock is good as it makes it easy to quickly read the time thanks to the large hands and contrasting markers. Both the markers and hands have luminescence to make the analog clock legible even in low-lit conditions. Starting off, this is a watch that is built to be ”extra everything”. It has a design that stands out of the ordinary, and equally so a ruggedness and performance that makes it one of the toughest watches on the market.

If you are out hiking, there often tends to be informed about the current height, for example on signs or on maps. The triple sensor rating simply means that it can measure pressure , has an altimeter function, compass, and temperature. These are all sensor functions that can be important when performing outdoor activities. The triple sensor function is incorporated into the case via an opening which can be found on the left side of the case, next to the text which indicates so. This is a quartz watch that has both an analog display and an LCD screen.

g shock mudmaster

The MUDMASTER watch arrives in a bright yellow with black accents and military green with black accents. Awesome piece of technology and overall exceptional looks and ruggedness! Love the features, it’s, you have several unique options at the push of a button.

For decades, G-SHOCK watches have won praise for their exceptional durability, but the G-SHOCK GGB100 Mudmaster takes the brand’s rugged legacy to a new level. From top to bottom, it’s designed for absolute toughness to withstand hard work in the most extreme environments. And for Southern California-based Hotshot firefighter Brian Anderson, hard work and extreme environments are just part of the job. For most of the year, he and his crew head to the front lines to contain fires in wilderness areas all around the country. Forged carbon is made by kneading fine particles of carbon fiber into resin, which is then forged in a press die at high temperature and pressure.

Measuring in at a bold 53.1mm wide by 55.4mm lug-to-lug with a thickness of 19.3mm, the Mudmaster makes quite the statement. It’s not just large for the sake of being large, as the case houses the G-SHOCK “Quad Sensor” – an array of tools including a thermometer, altimeter/barometer, digital compass, and step counter. Metal button pipes for each of the six buttons make for a tighter seal to keep out mud and debris, while a dual-layer caseback further ensures protection from the elements. Last one to highlight in the twin sensor collection is G Shock Mud Master GG A5DR, available in color tan. The Neo-Brite luminous hands will let you read the hour in dark situations along with the marking in the right of every hour. As said before new materials have been used in the manufacturing of this watch in order to create a two-layer guard structure that confers it a great shock resistance that you rarely see on other watches.

Casio refers to this new concept as its “Carbon Core Guard” case structure. Over the dial is a mineral crystal, and the case is water resistant to 200 meters. Aesthetically, the look of black carbon fiber on most of the case is gorgeous. That’s a tall order, but Casio’s G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GG-B100 watch has been built to meet the challenge of these extreme environments. The key to the G-SHOCK’s incredible performance is its Carbon Core Guard structure. This shock-resistant carbon core guard protects the watch’s vitals to assure proper function regardless of terrain or weather conditions.

Ensuring reliable operation in the harshest environments, this tough structure is prepared to support training and actual missions in environments such as jungles and deserts. Forged carbon is a special type of carbon fiber-reinforced resin, a material g shock watch that is lighter than and has tensile strength superior to stainless steel. With its ability to be pressed into complex shapes, forged carbon is used for the lug connecting the bezel to the band on both sides, structurally protecting the watch face.

For those who want to take the toughness of the G-Shock one step further, Casio has developed the Mudmaster range within the G-Shock collection. These are made to be amongst the toughest watches you’ll be able to find. This is the ultimate outdoor watch that will handle virtually any situation you subject it to. The top coat is g shock watch clear so you can see the weave of the carbon fiber through it. G-SHOCKS have a long legendary reputation amongst military personnel all round the world and its easy to see why. For me as a child of the late 70s and early 80s I can still remember my first CASIO watch and the joy the digital display and small night light it had.
