My only qualm is that it does not last as long as I would like, though I do not mind the trouble of re-applying in this case. It opens with a juicy, shower-fresh blend of pear, black currant, tuberose and orange blossom. If clean scents are your favourite genre, it’s worth a sniff, however, if you’re looking for a creamy white floral, then keep looking.
This is a close kin cousin to Un Jardin En Mediterranee Hermès for women, with a twist of saltiness and musk – like Womanity. This perfume is actually beautiful but my skin is weird when it comes to perfumes in general. For example if I wear a perfume with patchouli, that’s all I will end up smelling like. Nothing is very loud here despite the tuberose taking the lead. The tuberose is a quiet leader in a fragrance that is very well blended and smooth. I would have liked more heavy handedness with the scents most interesting note of hazelnut, but its a great scent for those that may like a less aggressive tuberose based scent.
I loved Jardins de bagatelle from Guerlain when I was young, and even though Woman is not as sweet as Jardins de bagatelle, it still reminds me of it in a way. Feel like I have gotten back to my roots scent wise. I love this, on me it is a whisper of Tuberose, creamy yet fresh and very sensual.

I will say the body cream is really nice too; melts into skin and smells like the perfume. For seasons, I think it’s more appropriate for cooler temps; spring, late fall and winter. Overall, it’s nothing groundbreaking, Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt but it’s nice and it’s been a while since Ralph Lauren has put out anything that I’ve liked enough to buy. After initial spray, Woman smells strongly of jasmine and woods with sweetness of pear.
The bottle itself says that it’s a woody fragrance but I don’t detect any wood. To me this is a fruity floral which is casually elegant and suitable for office wear. So I love a good blind buy (I’m okay with it if that makes me terrible), but I actually found a sample of this in an old Vogue of mine. I knew I liked it immediately and had it down in a journal as a potential 4 star buy. I actually find woman to be a gorgeously neutral scent, despite it’s very specifically gendered name.
Seems like anyone can put tuberose in a bottle along with a few other notes to create an inherently white flower scent without really formulating something magical. Just a theory but probably not a fair statement since every person has their own unique chemistry. If this is very close to Glamorous from the early 2000’s I’d love to give it a try. It smells similar to Burberry Brit Sheer if you took out all the fruit in that except the pear and added a note of sugar water.
