This perfume is everything I want for myself and everything I aspire to. I can sense the highest version of myself when polo dress shirts I’m wearing this. Woman by Ralph Lauren is its wearer, exalted. This will be one of my favorite perfumes for life.
It’s very pretty, sweet, floral, woodsy and quite wearable. Matches with casual clothing or semi formal blouses and dresses. When i was at the mall 2-3 months ago i was sniffing my way around the perfume counters with a sales associate tailing me trying to sell me on certain frags. She held up RL woman and told me to try it and i politely declined. I hadn’t smelled anything that i loved by RL since Ralph when i was 18. I had gotten a magazine with the insert inside and decided to smell it without being pressured to buy it.
Sparkly is hard to achieve without aldehydes or citrus, but this pear absolutely sparkles. For me, as the drydown progresses, the pear stays as the standout note. Because it becomes soloed out, it does feel slightly more synthetic, but not to a fault. As for woody notes, I really don’t get any. Perhaps some sandalwood in the base, but not the woodiness I was expecting, which I like.
But I love the bottle, have to admit it is unique and classy. The bottle and product packaging raises the bar – and is lovely. Ralph Lauren has always done a very good job styling their products in a way where they are easily marketed and have a wide appeal for commercial success.
Its light, feminine, clean and easy to wear. Anyway, this is definitely a feminine scent. It’s got that wonderful, shining and almost metallic white musk and tuberose/jasmin feeling to it that just sings on the skin. I LOVE this perfume but it disappears on my skin probably 20 minutes into wearing it. I spray it on my clothes, not too close to my nose so I won’t go nose-blind, and it just fades.
Just a simple sweet white floral fruity floral and nutty-woody scent. These are all pop fragrance words I could throw but it’s more than the sum of it’s parts. It goes on quite strong at first so you only need a spray or two. Once it mellows down, it’s a gorgeous floral, fruity, and slightly woodsy fragrance.
I first smelled this in a magazine after I accidentally opened the flap. It was one of the most beautiful scents I’ve smelled in a while. It’s creamy, beautiful, floral, pleasant, fresh. It reminds me of a confident and classy woman.
It’s modern, but not a LVEB / Black Opium / generic overpriced pink liquid kind of modern. This is for a woman who’s grabbing life by the balls. Most woody fragrances I tried have been quite masculine but this Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt is feminine power in a bottle. Fluffy white flowers topped with a sparkling dash of fruits. Its feathery soft and creamy, so sophisticated and suitable for a woman of any age and in any season, day or night.
Lately I have been staying away from floral perfumes and moving towards really saccharine and musky perfumes. This one is for sure more sweet than you would think. Ralph Lauren describes this as a magnetic “blend of florals and sandalwood.” Magnetic is a great description! This is the most unique perfume in my collection and I am really enjoying it. Don’t get me wrong, I love to smell fresh and clean. Woman by Ralph Lauren fits this bill perfectly.
