This perfume is everything I want for myself and everything I aspire to. I can sense the highest version of myself when I’m wearing this. Woman by Ralph Lauren is its wearer, exalted. This will be one of my favorite perfumes for life.
Sparkly is hard to achieve without aldehydes or citrus, but this pear absolutely sparkles. For me, as the drydown progresses, the pear stays as the standout note. Because it becomes soloed out, it does feel slightly more synthetic, but not to a fault. As for woody notes, I really don’t get any. Perhaps some sandalwood in the base, but not the woodiness I was expecting, which I like.
Having been used this for 3 weeks, it does reminds me of Gucci flora, it is similar yet different. I do smell distinctive orange blossom and pear on the initial spray, tuberose and woody on the dry down. For someone like me who have used hermes twilly for a long while, i have switched camp and fell i love with Woman. Every time i just reach for Woman unknowingly. The longevity and sillage is just fantastic for the price point, i will purchase again when my 50ml bottle is done.
It reminds me of Gabrielle by Chanel, probably because of the tuberose note. It’s feminine and appropriate for any occasion or time of year. This lasts all day on me and can still be smelled on clothes for days after. What I can’t polo dress shirts understand is, I do not normally like floral fragrances yet I am drawn to this. It reminds me of that old school perfume “Fracas” mixed with some other sweet scent. It has lasting power on me and not offensively strong.
It’s very pretty, sweet, floral, woodsy and quite wearable. Matches with casual clothing or semi formal blouses and dresses. When i was at the mall 2-3 months ago i was sniffing my way around the perfume counters with a sales associate tailing me trying to sell me on certain frags. She held up RL woman and told me to try it and i politely declined. I hadn’t smelled anything that i loved by RL since Ralph when i was 18. I had gotten a magazine with the insert inside and decided to smell it without being pressured to buy it.
Its light, feminine, clean and easy to wear. Anyway, this is definitely a feminine scent. It’s got that wonderful, shining and almost metallic white musk and tuberose/jasmin feeling to it that just sings Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt on the skin. I LOVE this perfume but it disappears on my skin probably 20 minutes into wearing it. I spray it on my clothes, not too close to my nose so I won’t go nose-blind, and it just fades.
It is long lasting, about 6-8 hour on me, and I was all set to get a bottle, but there is something in the last stages of the drydown that I am not fond of. It may be the generic “wood” note, as that tends to make me feels little unsettled. The perfume itself is well done and reminds me of the quality of the older Ralph Lauren fragrances. Not a loud fragrance but still attention getting. I had just sprayed it on my arm in the store when a gentleman asked what i was wearing.
STRONG. I’ve been smelling this all night long from one sample spray on the back of my hand. It starts with a strong, fruity rhubarb note, then transforms into musk and white flowers. I don’t find this fragrance to be something new. It’s like the top note of Sì Passione and the middle note of Crystal Noir glued together, and the glue is a subtle version of Angel Muse on my skin. However, I believe that this fragrance can be a good option for the summer evening. If you are looking for fragrances that aren’t cloying but still sweet, or something you can wear as a go-to scent for casual occasions, you wouldn’t regret trying this one out.
I’m not usually a fan of modern fragrances but the moment I smelled this I knew it was mine. Let me start by saying I absolutely love the bottle – the flip cap to be specific. It reminds me of an old timey brass petrol lighter. This is an extremely confident, elegant scent with an edge.
This will probably appeal to lovers of strong white florals that are not balanced by spices or oak moss . I was never a fan of Ralph Lauren fragrances but after announcing the release of this fragrance I was intrigued and had to give it a try. Woman by Ralph Lauren is for the classy, poised & young modern woman who embodies femininity but also has an androgynous side.
