It is implied in “Gay Witch Hunt” that he is bisexual, stating after the outing of Oscar that in the 1960s he had sex numerous times with women and it was possible that he could have had relations with a man as well. The scattered details that emerge are invariably bizarre and it is unknown how much of what he says is true. In fact, much of what he does say is either unsettling or downright disturbing, sometimes even describing violent crimes he claims to have committed or plans to commit. Despite all of this, is outwardly quite cheery most of the time and is tolerated by his fellow employees. Creed Bratton is a deviant, former hippie and homeless man employed at the Scranton branch of paper distributor Dunder Mifflin as a quality assurance manager. Creed is a mysterious figure who is prone to making bizarre or confusing statements on a regular basis.

I admired the film’s rhythm, the camera work and editing complementing the rest of the film’s elements flawlessly that both probably even outshone them. One particular shot that I loved was the Long Take used during his first professional fight. There are very few films I remember genifique pulling off this shot that has made me feel so emotionally engaged. The characters were raw and genuine, no doubt played exceptionally by the cast, particularly, Jordan and Stallone. The film was well crafted, intense but unhurried, keeping me immersed the entire time.

Shooting was set to begin in January 2015, in Las Vegas and Philadelphia. On December 16, Tessa Thompson was added to the cast as the female lead. On January 8, 2015, Phylicia Rashad reportedly joined the film to play Mary Anne Creed, Apollo’s widow. Sylvia Meals, who portrayed Mrs. Creed in Rocky II and Rocky IV had died in 2011. On January 21, Graham McTavish tweeted about his involvement in the film. Donnie fights Conlan at Goodison Park in Conlan’s hometown of Liverpool, and many parallels emerge between the bout that ensues and Apollo and Rocky’s first fight forty years earlier.

This is especially true in the most rudimentary forms of religious behaviour. Even when differentiated from other factors, beliefs are frequently not stated in al form but are diffusely expressed in sacred writings, legal codes, liturgical formulas, and theological and philosophical reflection. This was true in the ancient cultural religions of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome and in traditional Hinduism, Confucianism, and Daoism. When, however, a religion is transmitted from one culture to another (as from Semitic to Hellenistic; i.e., Palestine to Rome) or claims some degree of universal or exclusive truth, formal creeds often develop as aids in maintaining continuity and identity.

Overall, Creed is a great film on its own, but an absolutely phenomenal boxing film. I have actually never completely seen the previous Rocky films before since it just didn’t peak my interest at all. In fact, this one didn’t either but it was the best option at the time since Spectre didn’t have any seats left.

We’re moving forward, but the ghosts of the past are still coming with us. He is discovered by the other members of Dunder Mifflin living in Ryan’s old closet in the office after the warehouse party, at which point he plays one last song to his co-workers before being led away by the police. In a deleted scene of “Dwight K. Schrute, Manager”, Creed confirms to the camera that there is a real possibility he will murder Oscar. In the end of the episode, he’s promoted to acting manager of the office after Jo requests that the position be filled by the employee that has worked there the longest. After the last Rocky film was already pretty strong this is another example of sequels not necessarily being pointless nostalgia but in best case adding new layers to a franchise. Sure, we have the usual ingredients of boxer films here as well, that’s a tad predictable.

He also won the National Board of Review Award for Best Supporting Actor, Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor, and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. Creed was released in the United States on November 25, 2015, the 40th anniversary of the date of the opening scene in 1976’s Rocky. The film received critical acclaim, with praise directed at the performances , Coogler’s direction and the screenplay, with many also praising it for sticking to its predecessors’ roots. It was also a commercial success, grossing more than $173.6 million worldwide against its $35-40 million production budget. However, Creed has been negatively received by some professional critics, such as Robert Christgau. Jonah Weiner of Slate has tried to make the case that the band was “seriously underrated”; Joe Coscarelli of Mediaite countered that “most people hate Creed’s combination of overwrought power-balladry and Christian-infused testosterone.”
