I am 34 and i love a variety of frags from super sweet to musky to woody. RL woman is classy and beautiful and also one of my absolute favorites. Overall, perfume with great longevity, smells very clean. Love the bottle and the fact that it isn’t another syrupy sweet perfume too. But I wish the pear note lasted longer to balance out the heavy white floral smell of tuberose. A pretty fragrance with lots of florals mingled with a touch of sweet pear.
Ralph usually delivers a creative and quality made product that does not disappoint , and this one is an absolute winner for me. I do really like the notes, but there is a synthetic smell to my nose that I can’t deal with. I commented a while back that a sample of this perfume reminded me of talcum powder too much for me to use (it’s the type of perfume to give me a headache). Well, I wound up giving the sample to my mom, who likes those types of scents . I completely forgot about that perfume until I smelled Woman and it just hit me down the memory lane! I could not place it at first and identify where I felt this scent before, but now I think it’s just like LBD.
As I reckon most RL creations, the lasting performance is average (4-5h). I am impressed by this, it is a well blended perfume. I could see a lot of people drawn to wearing this. It pains me to say that I’ll be returning this fragrance and keeping the woman Intense version.
Solid 6 hour wear on my skin, projection is arms length. I want a back up; most scents I love go into extinction as soon as I discover Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt them. It is fresh, beautiful – clean beach near the sea — with a slight uplifting note of something like peppermint tea in the mix.
My impressions; first blast of opening was amazing, it was a bright floral fruity smell. It changed pretty quick and became heavier not cloying though. Then became soft and disappeared quickly. It has a sharp opening, like your nose is going to fall off because the scent is really poking. The opening stays a while and when comes the drydown is quite nice and sophisticated.
I will say the body cream is really nice too; melts into skin and smells like the perfume. For seasons, I think it’s more appropriate for cooler temps; spring, late fall and winter. Overall, it’s nothing groundbreaking, but it’s nice and it’s been a while since Ralph Lauren has put out anything that I’ve liked enough to buy. After initial spray, Woman smells strongly of jasmine and woods with sweetness of pear.
Black currant is very prominent to my nose, I kind of like it. Its mostly about strong white florals, I knew right away polo dress shirts this has a tuberose, and in this scent, its a very creamy one. I would say its balances nicely with orange blossom.
My only qualm is that it does not last as long as I would like, though I do not mind the trouble of re-applying in this case. It opens with a juicy, shower-fresh blend of pear, black currant, tuberose and orange blossom. If clean scents are your favourite genre, it’s worth a sniff, however, if you’re looking for a creamy white floral, then keep looking.
Upon first application, the orange blossom really stands out on my skin; it actually takes over the other notes. As it’s settling, I get more of the hazelnuts and some woods along with the fruity nuances. To me, it smells like a floral-fruity gourmand. I can see a little bit of similarity with Angel Muse; they both have that nuttiness in them, they’re kinda like distant cousins. This one isn’t nearly a powerhouse though.
