Max bottles his own barbecue sauce recipes and now sells them around the country. Webers are not cheap, but when you consider Blackstone Adventure that they last decades, the price is easy to justify. Many some cheap grills fall apart after three years or so.

If you’d like something cheaper that also uses propane, then I would recommend going with the Weber Q 300 or the Weber Original Kettle Premium. They’re both pretty similar to this grill, but they’ll cost less and their materials are all made out of aluminum instead of stainless steel. The only problem is that they have smaller grills (300 sq. in.) and they’re not as sturdy, but I’m willing to make this tradeoff if it means getting a cheaper grill with similar features. The chicken was super juicy on the inside and perfectly charred on the outside! Just look at those marks along with all that smokey flavor from slowly cooking over those low & slow smoking wood pellets (a mix of Cherry & Hickory).

The burner is covered, so if you want to use the shelf, you still can. Personally, if we had to pick one upgrade, we would recommend going for the next option, which adds the Weber CRAFTED suite of upgrades. You start with the basic three-burner E-325 and go up from there.

The porcelain-enameled Weber Spirit II E-310 features 3 stainless steel burners that produce 32,000 BTUs, each with independent electronic ignition. The warming rack provides an additional 105 square inches for a total of 529 square inches of cooking area. Spirit grills come equipped with a porcelain-enameled grease tray with a catch pan to make clean-up as easy as possible. The black porcelain-enameled hood has a center-mounted thermometer to monitor cooking temperatures and painted cast-aluminum end caps. This Weber Spirit grill has a painted steel frame and front-mounted control knobs to leave more room on the two stainless steel side shelves for prep space. The grill cart features painted steel doors, stainless steel handles, painted side and rear panels, and four heavy-duty casters .

If you notice on all those photos above, Weber has put a warning label right next to the ignition button stating not to touch the polycarbonate plastic shell when hot. The propane tank installation however was a bit confusing . But I’m not an expert in gas grills so this may be standard. You should also clean your char broil performance grates after each cooking session to keep them from deteriorating. For the Flavorizer Bars, take a gentler approach; remove stuck-on debris with a plastic scraper and only use a stainless steel brush if absolutely necessary. Likewise, use a plastic scraper on the heat deflector and the interior of the cook box.
