Cuisinart® Coffee Center Black Stainless 10 Cup Countertop Thermal Coffee Maker and Single Serve Brewer-SS20 Fitzgerald, GA

First we brewed the full 10 cup maximum capacity, which took just over 10 minutes, including the grinding. The manual advises roughly one scoop of beans per cup, but not more than 14 Cuisinart Coffee scoops, so we opted for 12 to ensure it would be strong enough. The flavor was fresh and well rounded – not bitter or too strong – but this will vary depending on the beans you use.

A stainless steel carafe and body will last longer than a plastic body and a glass carafe. In my experience, buttons tend to last longer than touch screens . And since these are things that will be moving every time you brew, see which combinations best suit you. Remember that the fewer times you have to reset, the easier your coffee workflow will be. You refill the water reservoir fewer times and brew quicker. While it is more expensive than most of the other brewers on this list, this coffee maker has all the bells and whistles you might want when it comes to automatic pour over brewers.

Kate is a lifelong coffee enthusiast and homebrewer who enjoys writing for coffee websites and sampling every kind of coffee known to man. She’s tried unusual coffees from all over the world and owns an unhealthy amount of coffee gear. The water reservoir is well-marked, so it is easy to see when your reservoir is full. However, the water tank lid doesn’t open far enough and gets in the way.

The Cuisinart SS-15 Maker Coffee Center is designed to give you lots of choices with just one machine. For those days when you need a single cup to wake you up before you drive the kids to school, there’s a single-cup brewer that works with K-cups or your own reusable coffee filter. You even have your choice of 3 different cup sizes so you can down a small dose at home or take a travel mug with you.

The real issue is the need to turn the carafe dang near vertical to get the last third of the pot into your cup. And once it starts to flow, lines in the mouth of the vessel encourage splatter. It’s not designed to dial down to Nth degree in terms of changing temperatures, adjusting a pre-soak or “bloom” time (it doesn’t have this feature), or adjusting for altitude.

The Cuisinart SS-10 Premium Single-Serve Coffeemaker is fully automatic and programmable for your convenience. It also has an adjustable temperature control, which is good because some models don’t brew your coffee hot enough. This model doesn’t have a bean hopper, so you’ll need to fill up the grinder with fresh beans before brewing. However, if you’re using pre-ground coffee, then the “grind off” button will disable the grinder and you can add coffee straight to the filter, which hinges open at the front.

From simple Cuisinart drip coffee makers to all-in-one models featuring single-serve options, there’s a Cuisinart coffee pot for every java lover. When choosing a Cuisinart coffee maker, consider the various features of each model. If you take your breakfast on the go, consider a one-cup Cuisinart coffee machine to reduce waste. Enjoy an afternoon pick-me up with a Cuisinart coffeemaker that brews a little more so you can top off your mug throughout the day. Or, if your home is filled with coffee connoisseurs, an even larger Cuisinart 14-cup coffee maker makes enough to satisfy everyone’s morning kick. No matter what size you choose, the machine’s electric percolator continually boils grounds until they reach your desired strength for an authentic, café-worthy flavor.

I would give it 5 stars but the K cup side likes to leak all over from time to time. It brews both sides wonderfully Keurig K-Mini and the filters make it even better. But if I can’t keep water in the single cup side it is an inconvenience.
