When the cleaning indicator lights up in the shaver display, insert the shaver into the C&C, as described above. Using the special cord set , connect the station power socket to an electrical outlet. The Clean&Charge Station has been developed for cleaning, charging, lubricating, disinfecting, drying and storing your Braun shaver. If you regularly clean the shaver under water, then once a week apply a drop of light machine oil on top of the Foil & Cutter cassette. These attachments are easily clipped on and off just like the blade head mentioned above. I only shave every 2 or 3 days (I’m retired and can get away with that). Unfortunately, if I do that this razor does not cut all the beard growth and leaves hairs. You have to go over repeatedly, Braun Series 5 or in my case, go over with my old Norelco I wanted to replace. If I shave again the next day, I am happy with this Braun, otherwise it is a disappointment.
