Weber Spirit II E-310 GBS Gas Grill

Plastic and stainless steel may prove more durable than paint coatings. Finally, although we looked at grills from high-end makers such as Hestan, Lynx/Sedona, and MHP for comparison (and a sense of what’s possible in a grill, for a price), we did not test them. Most of them cost four or five figures, well above our established price range of $400 to $900.

While there is no compromise in quality with the Spirit II, they are comparatively less expensive than their original counterparts. The Spirit excellently combined innovation and performance to get the best grilling results in a smaller footprint. One of the interesting drawbacks is the difference in warranty the Spirit has vs the Spirit II. More on this later.

Register your grill and gain quick and easy access to manuals, replacement parts and warranty. Only compliant is the wheel axel is to long so when moving the grill the axles push on the black plastic hubcaps popping them off every time. Of course, it’s always important to make sure that your new grill will be able to fit in your home. Before making a purchase, decide where your grill is going to go. Measure that area and then compare the numbers to the dimensions of the unit as pointed out by the manufacturer. If it’s an inch too large, it may be necessary to take a look at another model.

The compact open-cart design and the practical folding side table makes it fit even on small spaces, and you have all the basics you need to get familiar with gas grilling. So whether it’s a busy Monday or a relaxed Sunday – invite a couple of friends over, push the ignition and enjoy the special atmosphere that surrounds the Blackstone Adventure grill. The cast iron cooking grates are good for maintaining heat, allowing the food to cook more evenly. They are also fairly easy to clean up after, without causing any damage to the grates. This generally means that the grill comes with a dedicated rotisserie burner; the motor and spit are usually purchased separately.

Additionally, this product has a wide temperature range, making it a good option for low and slow cooking. Apart from its main features, most gas grills have additional features meant to provide functionality, ease of use, comfort, and convenience. Among them, the most popular are warming racks, storage cabinets, cooking tools, and various others. If you are going back and char broil performance forth between two models, looking at their additional features may help you make up your mind and choose one. Aside from its superior cooking power, this grill has some wonderful features, which include a Bluetooth-enabled thermometer that will send alerts directly to your smartphone. The lid is also specially designed to keep smoke away from your face while you grill.

This thing gets sticky when you rub sauce & oil onto it like crazy so you can easily get your meat to stick to the grate. Since we had to wait until every burger got to 145 degrees, many of them were more on the well-done char broil performance side by the time each test ended. Even so, they had a nice char on the outside and were pretty tasty. That was generally the case across all of our grills, except for the Char-Broil Commercial Double Header.

After giving the ribs 10 minutes to rest, we gave ’em a try. They were tender and pretty juicy, but not falling off the bone. Next time I’d try cooking them on indirect low heat on the main rack to see if they’d be even more tender. The Spirit II is similar to the $850 Weber Genesis II E-310.

I would not recommend it for smoking, indirect cooking, or searing food in order to prevent the food from being exposed directly to heat for too long. Despite being a slight bit smaller than the Weber Spirit E-210, the Master Cook Classic Liquid Propane Gas Grill has three burners instead of two. As you can imagine, this increases the total amount of heat that it can produce by a fair amount (30,000 BTU in comparison to the E-210’s 26,500). As a result, the device preheats faster and cooks more aggressively. Unfortunately, however, this feature also makes it more difficult to slow cook as very low temperatures are not an option. I should also mention that this grill’s construction is less solid than that of the E-210.

Just look at those marks along with all that smokey flavor from slowly cooking over those low & slow smoking wood pellets (a mix of Cherry & Hickory). The side burner looks neat, but I don’t really see too much use for it. This is something you’re going to need for sure if you have veggies or meat smoking at low & slow temperatures! In terms of grill testing, I cooked ribs on low heat, whole chickens on medium indirect heat, and a bunch of burgers on high.

This new series takes a lot from the aforementioned Genesis but makes an emphasis on compactness, practicality, and convenience. As a result, the grills included in it are more streamlined and straightforward without sacrificing power or efficiency. Heavy-duty caster wheels for easily moving your grill on grass or a…
