I personally have a preference for integrated hair trimmers. As mentioned previously, I personally find the new Series 5 a bit underpowered. In conclusion, my recommendation would be to consider the Braun 5018s if you plan on shaving often for the majority of the time. Secondly, the flat hairs on my neck required many passes and even so, a few odd stray hairs just refused to surrender.
While this is just another marketing word, it essentially means that the Series 7 shaver uses micro vibrations which help lift flat laying hairs. If you looked closely at the photo above you may have noticed small, black oval shaped button in the center of the shaver. Even if something presses up against the power button, the shaver won’t turn on. The Braun Series 5 is definitely one of the nicer looking shavers on the market. The black color scheme with silver and red highlights has really had some thought put into it.

The Foil gives the closest shaves from an electric Razor, however nothing is better than steel blades for close evening entertainment. Change cleaning cartridge at least every 8 weeks. The lock symbol lights up in the display when the shaver has been locked to avoid unintended starting of the motor (e.g. for storing it in a suitcase).
