A beep indicates that the shaver is seated correctly in the Clean and Charge Station. Remove the Clean and Charge Station display’s protective foil. To clean it effectively, you’ll need some soap and hot water. You need to know that in Braun Series 5 line, Braun has divided the models into categories which the model name started with Series 50xx and 51xx.

When the cleaning indicator lights up in the shaver display, insert the shaver into the C&C, as described above. Using the special cord set , connect the station power socket to an electrical outlet. The Clean&Charge Station has been developed for cleaning, charging, lubricating, disinfecting, drying and storing your Braun Philips Norelco Shaver shaver. If you regularly clean the shaver under water, then once a week apply a drop of light machine oil on top of the Foil & Cutter cassette. Next, switch off the shaver, press the release button to remove the Foil & Cutter cassette and let it dry. A full charge provides up to 50 minutes of cordless shaving time.
Charging and Battery – The rechargeable Li-Ion should provide a user with 50 minutes runtime and it takes approximately 1 hour for the battery to fully charge. I personally like the Series 6 more, mainly because of the flexing head, but the performance overall is very similar. I wouldn’t recommend it to users with coarse, wiry hair or if you plan on shaving every three days for example. Shaving flat and long hairs with the 5018s is when the downgrade from the previous cassette is the most obvious. I particularly enjoyed using the 5018s wet mainly because of the added slickness; the head just glides over the skin effortlessly. The foils always remained cool, maybe only slightly warm towards the end of the shave. It sounds and feels a bit sluggish and you will notice it if you have very coarse hair or you’re shaving less often. It tends to be a bit jerky and sticks to the skin occasionally. This can make shaving more tedious and lead to a longer session.
