Weber Spirit II E-210 2-Burner Black 26,500-BTU LP Gas Grill Kenyon Noble Lumber & Hardware

Typically, these burners are made of stainless steel in order to ensure durability and resistance to fire. However, some manufacturers use other, cheaper materials such as cast-iron. I should also mention that many gas grills out there feature additional burners on the sides or the Blackstone Adventure back for specific forms of cooking. Spirit II has four legs, two wheels and a lower open-air storage rack. If you have limited outdoor space or don’t want to commit to a larger grill, the Weber Spirit II E-210 is a smaller, two-burner version of our pick, and it’s a great choice.

But thermometers in the lid are several inches above the cooking grate and don’t accurately report the temperature on the surface where you’re actually cooking your food. Consider getting an inexpensive infrared thermometer to gauge the temperature of the cooking grates. The porcelain-coated cast-iron cooking grates make cleaning easier and the porcelain enameled flavorizer bars help vaporize the drippings to create a flavorful smoke. Weber added two new models to its Spirit line of gas grills in 2020, but we ultimately chose not to test them. One of them, the Spirit S-315, is similar to the Spirit II E-310 with regard to the specs, and with a few cosmetic differences—and higher price tag.

The left-hand table is slightly smaller, at 23 by 14 inches. Unlike on the Spirit II E-310, on the E-325s neither side table folds down. So triple-check your space to make sure you have room for this 61-inch-long grill before you buy!

Reflects how wide a temperature span the grill offers by comparing temperatures at the high setting and lowest setting possible. Evaluates the temperature after a 10 minute preheat using thermocouples. It also gives an indication how quickly char broil performance the grill reaches its maximum temperature. Of all the fuels mentioned here, charcoal emits the most carbon into the atmosphere. Though there’s no debating that, some experts argue that lump charcoal is potentially carbon neutral.

Remember to avoid using too much pressure or harsh tools or you may risk chipping the coating. In fact, I would readily recommend this model to those who are getting started. From start to finish, this offers an easy yet high quality grilling experience.

Featuring a sleek and streamlined design that wouldn’t look out of place in any outdoor kitchen, the Royal Gourmet GG2102 is another good alternative to the Weber Spirit E-210. At any rate, though, it’s well-designed, practical and portable, making it a good choice for those who have a reduced space but still want effective and even grilling. I should also mention that, despite being smaller than the Spirit E-210, the Royal Gourmet GG2102 has more cabinet space and slightly larger fold-down side tables. In terms of materials, the Spirit E-210 is every bit as wonderful as any of the other products in the Weber brand. The unit’s exterior is made of pure stainless steel, ensuring maximum durability and resistance to external elements.

One area that it is lacking in slightly is its build quality and design. When your lid handle gets so hot that it melts after only one use, then there’s something wrong! If you notice on all those photos Blackstone Adventure above, Weber has put a warning label right next to the ignition button stating not to touch the polycarbonate plastic shell when hot. The propane tank installation however was a bit confusing .

The Weber company is the brainchild of George Stephens, an avid family man with 12 children, he was a lover of quality time cooking with the family. But he found the traditional brazier style BBQ’s of the 1950s to be problematic, inefficient, and uneven. We’ll show you what features it possesses, what the build quality is like, and of course whether it’s right for you and your wallet.

The durability of these grills is also standard, as they are made using good quality materials that last for years. The larger models of this series come with a spacious grilling area supported by a side burner, while the smaller models feature foldable shelves and wheels that make them easy to store and move. We cooked a grillfull of pre-made one-third pound hamburgers on high with the lid down. They cooked fast at two minutes per side, although the front row needed an additional minute. We’d prefer overall, even heat from the front to the back of the grill, but we appreciated how quickly and easily Spirit II cooked this popular item.
