Casio created a true masterpiece with this model, doing their best to make a G-Shock for people who are not content with what most would take as enough. It all comes down to whether you can be convinced to shell out the money for it. If you do, and make the purchase, you’ll be truly impressed with its capabilities. The backlighting lights up the whole display, making it really easy to read in low light, which is a feature overlooked in many G-Shock models.

The countdown timers on these models were designed to count down for surfing competitions, some of the later models have a yacht timer, moon and tide graphs so a surfer can keep track of the progress while competing on the water.
