Mineral glass alone is durable enough, along with a highly shock – resistant case, they make an extremely tough watch that can survive intensive physical abuses.
For me, this means that while it is not impossible to read the GA100 at night, it is not an ideal G-Shock for this purpose. There are others though that excel at night reading.
