Alen BreatheSmart Classic Replacement Air Filters

Alen’s medical-grade filtration is highly effective thanks to powerful airflow, ensuring pure air for your entire room. This super quiet air purifier has a true HEPA filter to get alen breathesmart rid of nearly all of the unwanted particles in the air with a 99.99% removal rate. The lowest fan speed is quiet with a gentle night light, making it great for overnight use.

Even if you leave the purifier on auto to work its magic around the clock, as Alen recommends. At full power, the purifier consumes 50 watts of energy, which will set you back approximately $4.40 per month. In reality, the power consumed will be much, much lower as the purifier operates on the lowest setting 99% of the time. As you can see, there are plenty of options to choose from for filters that work with each type of air purifier from Alen, giving you plenty of options to choose from.

The Classic is a very reliable model but it’s better to be safe than sorry. At the top fan speed setting, the noise levels rise to 56 dB which is not ideal. Granted, the smaller alen breathesmart FLEX also has 55 dB noise levels at Turbo Speed but the new 45i and 75i models have managed to reduce that number to 49 dB, a considerable difference.

In fact, Alen claims the technology in the BreatheSmart is twice as quiet as that of its key competitors, even on Turbo speed. Because it’s small in size, this particular Coway model was designed to cover up to 361 square feet of space. Alen is touting the Lasko Box Fan Classic as a smart device, and that’s a fully believable claim. As its name implied, the Alen BreatheSmart Classic has a Smart Sensor to detect the air quality of your home. For those who don’t know, the Smart Sensor doesn’t just check the air quality and display it on the feedback light. From that, it will run an Auto Mode to change the fan speed automatically.

The BreatheSmart’s infrared sensor detects particles in the air, adjusting settings accordingly when in auto mode. The On/Off ring changes colors to reflect the air quality, red for high levels of pollutants, orange for moderate levels and blue for clean air. This means you can see at a glance how well the BreatheSmart is purifying your air. The BreatheSmart is in about the same price bracket as the Dyson Pure Cool, but doesn’t have the in-depth feedback the Pure Cool can provide within the Dyson app.

Are you looking for protection from allergies or just need to freshen up the air? A quick look at the specs for the purifier should tell you what particles it can effectively remove from the air. Again, a HEPA filter is going to do the trick for most common irritants and odors, including pet hair and dust. But if you live in a smoker’s house, look into something more robust. When it comes to quality, performance and customer satisfaction, Alen stands by their air purifiers for life.

Excellent instructions and labeled controls on how to use the air purifier right out of the box. We try to keep up with sales for every air purifier we review; Alen BreatheSmart Classic sales included. In the short-term the cost of Alen BreatheSmart Classic might appear quite high but the important part – the long-term cost – is minimal.
