Coffee Maker Review

The brewer should be operated on its own circuit, separate from other appliances. Depending on the mineral content of your water, calcium deposits or scale may build up in your brewer. Scale is nontoxic but if left unattended can hinder brewer performance. Regularly descaling your brewer every 3-6 months helps maintain the heating element, and other internal parts that come in contact with water.

Pod storage unit fits in brewer and can hold up to 9 K-Cup pods. Compatible with My K-Cup universal reusable coffee filter . At less than five inches wide, the incredibly slim and easy to use, K-Mini™ single serve coffee maker makes anywhere perfect for great coffee. The Cuisinart Coffee Plus coffee maker is featured in our review round up of the best Keurig coffee makers, so it’s no secret that we’re fans of the little brewer. It is a small, simple, and affordable single serve coffee machine, perfect for anyone who rarely brews more than a cup of coffee at a time.

I’ve also added the K-Mini Plus to my list of best Keurig coffee makers this year because it is one of the cheapest Keurigs that offers a strength selection. Paired with the ability to make 6-7oz cups of coffee a strong button means this machine can actually make great tasting coffee for a k-cup brewer. We’ve found the K Mini to be one of the best Keurig coffee makers produced by the company.

Keurig K-Mini

Reflects the ability to produce weak to strong brews using controls and varying the amounts of water and the number of beverage packets. The K-Mini Plus has a chrome accent on the drip tray. This is primarily an aesthetic difference, but it does give the Plus a more premium feel. We would certainly recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t mind spending a couple of extra bucks. It’s reliable, produces quality coffee, and looks great on your countertop. The temperature of the brew consistently sat between 160 and 170 F degrees.

If you really like this model but you want a bigger water tank, they now make Keurig K-Slim. It looks exactly like K-Mini Plus, has 3 cup sizes, but comes with a 46 ounce removable water tank. Regardless of the differences, both these machines are great Keurig options for those with not much counter space or who want a device at work.

If you’re looking for a reliable coffee maker that makes it incredibly easy to brew a single cup at a time, this is the one for you. That is especially true if you’re short on space, as it is the most compact Keurig available. There is nothing to critique when it comes to the water reservoir on the K-Mini Plus.

The brewer will turn off automatically 90 seconds after the last brew to help save energy. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
