The Hamilton Beach 2-Way Coffee Maker is not a stunning looking piece of equipment. It has the sort of chic utilitarian vibe pervasive to the Hamilton Beach line of products. Sure, it is not as chic and colorful as Smeg machines , keurig single cup drip coffee makers but the brushed stainless steel and black plastic make for a look that matches a variety of decors. We also appreciate the pleasantly minimal interface that features just a handful of buttons and a nice, bright digital display.
It did come with some circles of paper that I can only assume are meant to be filters. This stuff isn’t a big deal to me, just wanted to put the info out there. When you’re ready for coffee, just say, “Alexa, turn on my coffee maker,” and a red brewing light on the machine will turn on. If you don’t have an Alexa speaker in the room, or you don’t feel like talking, you can navigate to your coffee maker in the Devices section of the Alexa app and press the power button.

You’ll be surprised to find that Hamilton Beach has coffee makers of all varieties, giving the options you want without adding extra dollar signs to the price tag.
