Cuisinart Clermont Pellet Grill & Smoker Review

With a little finesse we were able to lift the tray of ashes after the fire cooled down and dump it out without making a mess. It includes a timer, some very basic recipes , and a history log that tracks your favorite sessions. Unfortunately cuisinart pots and pans set it connects via Bluetooth only, which means the range is limited. We lost communication after going indoors and walking to the next room. We had no problem connecting with the app, but that doesn’t guarantee you won’t.

We also liked that the digital control panel used temperature increments of five degrees, allowing us to create more precise temperatures. The grill also allows for an extra smoke mode, with settings that range from 1 to 10. The WiFi- and Bluetooth-connected app was great for changing and monitoring both grill temperature and the four thermometer ports, too. Hi, I’m Lindsay Mattison, a trained professional chef and a barbecue weekend warrior. You’ll find me outside almost every weekend, cooking over an open fire pit or smoking on a pellet grill. I’ve tested over three dozen grills over the years for Reviewed, so I’ve learned a thing or two about what works (and what doesn’t).

When it’s time to clean, you just take out the grease pan underneath, empty and wash in the sink. Just like the Woodcreek 4-in-1 and the Clermont Pellet grill & smoker, the twin oak has an express clean-out system for the consumed pellets turned into ashes in the firepot. On the left side of the grill, there’s a manual handle that you just need to lift and pull in order to open a trap underneath the firepot. The ashes then fall in a drawer that you can take out and empty in the trash when it’s full. I was browsing the Lowes website as I do from time to time to look for new pellet grill models and I came across a Camp Chef model I wasn’t familiar with, the MZGX24.

The key to managing household duties quickly and efficiently is to design an easy-to-follow routine that includes all the most important tasks. Follow these step-by-step instructions for creating a customized whole-home cleaning schedule. Technology is top-notch as well with connectivity to Camp Chef’s own smartphone app. From the app, you can monitor and control the grill, but it’ll also let you schedule an automatic shut off when your meat is done cooking. Despite the SmokePro’s smaller size, it packs a serious punch in terms of power and technology.

Once you decide to try out a pizza on your pellet grill, you will never go back to cooking a pizza in a conventional oven. Set temperature to 275°F, close lid, and preheat pellet grill 10 to 15 minutes. Unlike a charcoal grill or smoker, you don’t just let a pellet smoker grill burn out. Instead, you will need to turn shut it down manually. This will stop feeding pellets to the main chamber, thereby allowing the embers to die down.

So cuisinart soup maker the good things first, I do like the large screen on the Clermont providing clear temperature information etc. I also like the large temperature dial, very similar to the temperature control panel on the Cuisinart Woodcreek and Twin Oaks. Also, while as I discuss above that I don’t think a very large 40 lb pellet hopper is really necessary, placing the control on top of the hopper makes it easier to read/use.

While there was a lot to like about the Camp Chef Woodwind 24 with Sear Box, we found it lacking in performance—especially given its high price tag. The grill itself has ample surface area for all your grilling needs. It’s more compact than cuisinart pots and pans set some of the other grills we tested, but it contains dual racks inside, each boasting roughly 400 square inches of grilling surface area. There’s plenty of room to grill several briskets, pork shoulders, or racks of ribs in this grill.
