This is a useful option since it’s not always easy to track the filter changing times. Most people change the filters only when the air purifier starts emitting a foul smell which is already way too late. However, if you want to use it as a basement air purifier or in any large room, the cleaning process will go rather slow. For example, if you use the unit in the room which is 1000 square feet, it will do about 2 air changes per hour. All in all, I would advise readers to pass on the BreatheSmart Flex in favor of other more effective and more cost effective air purifiers.
