If you plan on taking your Blackstone Griddle on the go I highly recommend the 17″. Again, if I had just sized up to the 22″ I would have more room to cook, oh let’s say, the onions and meat for Philly cheesesteaks at the same time. The 17″ does limit how much you can cook at one time.
But this is truly THE griddle for YOU if you want to be the boss of the backyard, and the governor of the griddle. As you disassemble the Blackstone, set the parts to the side. Once you have placed the burner section to the stand, you will now add the griddle and hood. The griddle section has little metal feet that fit into holes on the burner portion of the griddle. After you have set the griddle into place, you will then push the griddle back to lock it into place.
