After a while jasmine, musk and vanilla comes out which are balanced good. On me, jasmine is dominant and it is layered over with vanilla and musk. It’s a clear, floral, generic fragrance jogs my memory of a daisy area in a sunny day. Idole is one my favourite Lancome fragrances, I assume lancome hypnose perfume it’s such a stunning rose perfume. The drydown on me smells like a rose musk though not a clean kind of rose…virtually as if the rose has gone a bit over its best .
That is what Lancome was aiming for here & I think they nailed it. What’s cool about this one is it has that ubiquitous really feel . Then it shifted to a floral musk perfume. My skin often turns musk to a bizarre child wipe kinda vibe however Idole didn’t disappoint me in any respect. Sillage and longevity are each pretty average. You might scent it from a conversation, and the fragrance itself won’t last more than 4 hours.
In 1935, a successful businessman named Armand Petitjean opened a small boutique meaning to sell fragrances and other beauty products. He named it Lancome after an historic fort, Le Chateau de Lancome, which had impressed him for years. This citadel and its stunning ruins would have a fair bigger impression on Lancome within the years to come! The wild roses that grew across the ruins inspired many of Lancome’s most famous fragrances, as properly as its logo and branding. Lancome Idole was crafted by three highly effective women, and the result’s a female and bold fragrance in a simple-yet-stunning blush bottle. Rose, jasmine, and white chypre create a floral scent that is, above all, clean.
A safe purchase for somebody over maybe 25 years of age. Will use my sample but likely won’t buy a bottle myself. This is surprisingly un-sweet for a Lancôme fragrance!
Becuase as quickly as I get whiffs of the powder, it makes me consider an old lady scent. This is the place the scent begins to smell/feel cheap to me. It’s robust, becuase I do love the floral scent to it, it is simply that powder scent that ruins it for me. I wish lancome perfume for women to like it, becuase the top scent is amazing on my pores and skin. I am just not the largest fan of the center notes I’m getting.
