Lancomes New Idole Eau De Parfum Is The Feminine Fragrance Thatll Be All Over Instagram This Fall

Modern, safe notes, very strong on the nose. Gorgeous bottle but this chypre perfume is not my taste. Not a review; for those who think that some perfumes are “for over 40 years old businessswoman”, instead of returning, keep them in a box and forget it in your drawer. When you reach your 40s, and make a career, you will have a “vintage, hard to find, tailored for you” perfume that you will treasure.

I probably would never buy a bottle but I enjoy it for a juicy fruity, somewhat floral fragrance. This is perfectly clean and feminine, a real compliment-catcher. I’m seeing people complain about the opening note and I don’t get it…the opening note is pretty great, imo. From all of the fruit opening-note perfumes I have, I think this one has the most realistic opening note ever. The pear is so…juicy and intense and photorealistic, perfect if you really love pear or otherwise fruity notes. Long lasting, and moderate in sillage.

I can see why Zendaya was tapped to model for this scent. She has that quality of being both beautiful and accessible, like Idôle. I didn’t expect Estee Lauder makeup myself to like this one so much! Usually these kinds of fresh fruity florals aren’t for me but wow.. This one is just downright LOVELY.

Four types of roses, three types of extractions, two geographic origins were necessary to create a radiant, ultra natural, youthful rose scented perfume. This stuff smells great and is very easy to wear. The opening consists of rum, saffron and ebony; possibly some black cumin and bitter orange. The heart is smoked ebony, incense and sugar cane. The base features leather, amber, labdanum and sandalwood.

To me this smells like a lighter version of ginza by shiseido. A very feminine, nice, soft, elegant, floral fragrance. Definitely a crowd pleaser and maybe a little generic, but there’s nothing wrong with a good generic fragrance.

Smelling this the first time, there was something very familiar and almost nostalgic in it but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it… Is it just me or does this smell like a more floral version of Chloe or Zara Wonder Rose? It does kinda smell like many other perfumes but that doesn’t take away from it being nice. I wouldn’t necessarily repurchase, because it is slightly generic, but nonetheless classy and feminine.
