I do see this could be fitting for fall-spring though. The opening burst is an almost note-perfect rendition of the pulp of a white-fleshed peach. Within 30 seconds the skin joins in, and the peach carries on in a fresh but unsweetened fashion for a couple of hours. A surprising dryness accompanies the vanilla/sandalwood drydown a la Guerlain’s Samsara, albeit less powdery and more fruity. Once a skin scent, about 5 hours in, only the vanilla and sandalwood remain, kept on the skin by a wisp of white musk. Hovering somewhere between gourmand and not.
I have a feeling that people who like Dior Dune EDT would also like this Trésor. Alzheimer’s patients often respond well to sensory stimulation. She may not be able to name the fragrance but I’m sure that just smelling her old signature scent will bring her comfort and pleasure and may even prompt some recollections.
A little bit is enough, a lot may be too strong. All I can review is the Tresor of the 90’s. I have a couple of small bottles of vintage, and I remember very clearly, that fragrance on one of my best friend’s mom when I was in middle school. She was a badass lady that was a single mom.

I haven’t smelled Jaipur for years, but now I really want to. It seems my assumption Tresor is pleasant but not passion-inducing is wrong! Lots of people really don’t like it.
So sweet, like a Christmas box of Turkish delight with an underpinning of salt! I also get a dusting of powdery orange and marzipan. I was in Macys today and gave myself a spritz.
